BTS Sybelle for Hyperconverged Infrastructure
Integrated management of software-defined storage, system virtualization and network functions in a single platform
Hyper-converged platforms where the server, virtualization and storage layers are converged configured and controlled. Thanks to the flexibility they provide and ease of use and management, they are increasingly preferred over conventional structures.
BTS Sybelle for Hyperconverged Infrastructure
In this field, where competition is high and many vendors offer many different solutions, being dependent on equipment and vendors creates a disadvantage. When there is a need for an expansion in the infrastructure, the vendor or the very strict hardware criteria predetermined for the previously used solutions can be an obstacle and prevent progress. The most important starting point of BTS Sybelle Hyper-Integrated Platform, the software-based cloud computing platform we have developed for data centers, is hardware agnosticism. Easy designs made in line with some performance and hardware criteria for a specific scenario can be integrated into existing conventional hardware infrastructure in the converged system.
Thus, the infrastructure components would not remain idle after a point. Conventional storage units (SAN, NAS, etc.) are easily used within the platform as additional storage resources and are managed in an integrated manner with the virtualization infrastructure. In addition, the backup layer in the software-based cloud computing platform provides a significant cost advantage by eliminating the need for an additional solution and product for the backup/restore process.
